Unless special procedures are
required, everything is done in one visit including the reading of
informed consent, lab work and physical. Be sure to pay
attention during the consent reading as many doctors will quiz you
and can bar you from the study if they feel you don't fully
understand what your getting yourself into.
Cedra is very strict with "no shows" and cancellations.
If
you make an appointment with this clinic, make sure you arrive early
as they will not serve you if you are late.
Also, make sure you call to
cancel if you know you will not make it.

Payment: |
|
You will typically get most of
your money after your last procedure visit, whether that be an
in-house stay or out-patient and the rest in the mail two to three
weeks later. If you are a backup who does not stay the first
night, you get $25 cash and a Priority card. If you are a
backup and stay the night and are not used for dosing, then you will
get $75 cash and a Priority Card. Priority Cards allow you to
get into a study as long as your labs are in range.

Studies
are updated on the website as they arrive, so be sure to check
often.
This
clinic mostly does bio-equivalency studies which means multiple
stays with out-patients. However, there are longer studies
with single stays.
Bring
enough clothes for length of study. Laundry is done on longer
studies.
Cedra has acquired the space
above on the 3rd floor is currently building out the space. It
is not clear how the space will be used or if it will just be used
as an overflow area. Details when I get them.

I have done
two studies at this location. They seem to have better
synchronicity than the Austin location. The place is laid out
better than the Austin location as it does not resemble a huge maze
with the hallways and such.

Camera Restrictions: |
Do not
bring a camera-phone or laptop with built in camera. Cedra
has a very strict policy and they will take it away at check-in.
They will allow you to use the phone under staff supervision when
staff is available. If you sneak it in and get caught, you may
get fined. Plus there are a lot of people who will turn you
in, primarily people who got their phone taken away. So do
yourself a favor, if you plan on doing lots of studies, get a
secondary non-camera phone.
Absolutely no laptops with
built-in cameras, even if you have removed the camera.
